Bring back the swap to create an outfit option!
Gemma Minihan
I feel that this is working really well now. Shuffle and sliders are back to their lovely selves, and then the ability to quick-select from the menu is useful too :) really nice iteration :) thank you!
Edit: I take it back. I just updated and the newest release is awful! Shuffle requires a bunch of layering set up and all the random creativity has gone again. Leave shuffle functionality alone! We loved it as it was!

Gemma Minihan: Thank you for the feedback and patience. Indeed I have been iterating over the outfit making, to make it as easy and fun as possible. Sometimes changes don't sit well for everyone. Regarding the shuffling: Some users wanted to control the layers in the shuffle, others wanted it to be random. I'll work on an improvement regarding this.

the update is now available in the app store. please update your app and let me know what you think of the new Dressing Room that brings back the swiper (although in a slightly different way). Very curious to hear your thoughts: Do you like it more or less than the old system?

Hey Ludwig, thank you really much for this update. I’m still checking it out. Indeed I sometimes have problems when, for example I want to swipe through different dresses, it automatically changes into „1. Layer“ and automatically adds my first shirt. I have to delete this again and then go back to „Ganzkörper“.
I hope you can understand what I mean. But I’m still figuring out.
Best regards

Ludwig Henne personally, I liked way more the previous swipe version, because it was so smooth to swipe, meanwhile now all items vibrate a bit and it feels less smooth to swipe between them. Also, I liked the randomize outfit button. Maybe you can add a shake to choose your outfits between the one created button (it’d be awesome to select before hand the season and the tag, and then just shaking your phone when you don’t know honestly what to wear!)

Slide through pieces of clothing in outfits

in the new upgrade the option of sliding through different pieces of clothing in the outfits panel disappeared. Now it’s only possible to randomize.
Also it’s not possible to plan according to a tag… if i want to plan an outfit for work i takes way too long

Thank you for all your feedback! Sorry the feature was removed while many of you had a great time with it.
I'm happy to tell you that the next app version will have an updated Dressing Room which brings back the swipe feature. It's a bit different – and hopefully better – than before. Now you tap on each "row" to activate the swipe and you have more options to quickly find the right item as well as quickly filter your clothes for each row.
I'm curious to hear your feedback, the app update will hopefully be available within the next day.

Hey,
When I use the new feature, I automatically pick items I combine often. But when I used the swipe option I sometimes found Items looking good together, but never would have picked them especially. I discovered more options I didn’t think of before
Ludwig Henne
hey, indeed the swipe option was replaced with the Dressing Room feature. However it let's you do more than just randomize clothes :) Try tapping on any item and you will be able to replace them easily. You can also still filter by tags to i.e. only show items with a specific tag. It should be faster to create outfits that way because you don't need to swipe endlessly to find an item.
Please let me know if you managed to create outfits like that and if you have other feedback.

Ludwig Henne I also think the swiping should be reincorporated in the new platform. It made the whole app experience more fun. It also adds to the nostalgia factor as a lot of us have always wished for a wardrobe like in the movie “Clueless”.

Irina Paduretu: thanks for the feedback! I'm working on a new version that hopefully combines the best worlds of both the new and old system. The idea is that you tap on a given item (for example top) which lets you swipe clothes for this slot and gives you more options like selecting items from the menu as it is in the new system. That way you can still swipe but you would always first tap the position that you want to swipe for, if that makes sense?
Anyways, when I'm done I'll push an update and gather your feedback ;)
