At the moment, when creating an outfit and adding in the clothes (which has categories labelled), you still need to add the categories into the outfit. This feels a bit duplicated so will be good to link between the two.

I was adding outfits via the planner so yes I think the syncing between them has gone funny.

good catch! Just to confirm: You mean adding an outfit photo/selfie and then linking the clothes? It's true that in that case the categories aren't copied.
It should already work when you create an outfit from your clothes via the canvas, in that case when you save the categories from the clothes are applied to the outfit.
But I didn't yet add this behavior for outfit photos 💡, will do!
