Ability to update items included in outfits

I updated an item (edited the photo to erase some parts), and it didn’t update in the outfit. So I went to edit the outfit and re-save it to see if that would update it but instead it just removed the item and I had to add it and make it fit into the layout again.
I would like to edit items without having to re-add them to all the outfits it’s part of.

I believe the item is still part of the outfit, but the newly edited item doesn’t load when we click to edit an existing outfit with it, so it looks “invisible.”
It would be great if the item refreshed automatically after edits, at least when we click to re-edit the outfit.
